Who may register on courses?
Students seeking to register for Excel University courses must demonstrate
a passion to develop themselves in leadership and theology.

No previous qualification is required to begin our certificate courses, however depending on the level of courses applied for by students, will be accessed and determined by Excel University. Experiences and references are helpful and are considered, this is subject to status. Individuals with leadership experience, higher education or postgraduate degrees may have more choice of courses and are likely to be accepted for our Masters &
Doctorate programmes. However this does not stop individuals starting from certificate or diploma level and working their way up.

Most of our courses are designed to:

  • Help each student to empower and develop their understanding in leadership and theology;
  • provide the knowledge, skills and values you will need to help you do theology in your own context;
  • help you think more deeply and critically about Scripture, the Church, and a variety of contexts;
  • enable you to put into practice – in church and community contexts – what you are learning;
  • stimulate and develop your personal spirituality as you learn to incorporate your studies into your life and ministry;
  • develop academic disciplines and competencies that will enable you to continue ongoing personal study;
  • continue studying courses at Excel University, should you wish to do so;
  • teach & equip as many students possible with sound, quality teaching and training from the Holy Bible
  • expand and develop more lecturers and prolific leaders worldwide.

We recommend that:

  • you attend a lecture class, if any are available including online;
  • you study a maximum of two courses at a time at Excel University;
  • you set aside at least 7 hours of study time per day for each course; to allow 30 – 40 hours of study per week.
  • you give yourself more study time in the weeks leading up to due dates for assignments and or exams, as you may need to carry out practical research work.

Student responsibility:

  • Students Course is at level chosen by student(s) and accepted by Excel University
  • Students must not share secure login password with any other person
  • Students Study duration is for the total duration of chosen course
  • Student’s course will consist of modules specified by the course chosen
  • Students will regularly receive practical assignments and assessments
  • Students must mentally prepare for adequate study for their chosen course
  • Students will need to attend campus when required for lectures & assessments
  • Students need adequate time to carry out work and research their chosen area to base their thesis if this applies
  • Students must submit their coursework assignments on time.
